Colorado's 4th Judicial District Attorneys Office

Organized Crime Unit

The duties of the Organized Crime Unit (OCU) include the prosecution of intricate cases and offenders with the largest potential impacts on the community. These cases often include pattern crimes, burglaries and aggravated robberies, and prolific offenders who have dozens of cases and/or over 50 individual charges.  This unit is composed of seasoned trial attorneys so that these complex and impactful cases get our best prosecution efforts.  This unit works closely with local law enforcement to identify the offenders who are creating the most harm to the citizens of El Paso and Teller counties.

What to do if you become a victim of organized crime

Contact your local law enforcement agency to report the crime as soon as possible. Law enforcement will investigate the crime and the District Attorney’s Office will determine if charges should be filed and prosecute any crimes.
